Comments:	Quantity limit per order for this item is 1. This item can be ordered once a year. Orders over this limit will be sent to NIAID for approval before shipment. Animals were immunized with a synthetic peptide containing the circumsporozoite (CS) protein repeat (ANGAGNQPG) of P. vivax variant (VK 247). Cells were tested for Mycoplasma contamination Spleen cells were fused with myeloma cells. The antibody is specific for P. vivax variant (247) circumsporozoite (CS) protein repeats (ANGAGNQPG). The 2E10.E9 antibody can be used in ELISA, immunofluorescence and and two site ELISA for identification of P. vivax variant (strain 247) sporozoites and CS protein. The line was treated for mycoplasma with Mycoplasma Removal Agent (ICN) for two weeks by the depositor. The line was negative for mycoplasma when tested by the depositor using the GenProbe Mycoplasma Rapid Detection System (ICN). Culture medium, 65%; fetal bovine serum, 25%; DMSO, 10%. Freeze the cells in 1 ml aliquots at 5 to 10 X 10(6) cells/ml. For academic research only. Commercial use prohibited.
