The panel consists of nucleic acids extracted from dengue viruses, representing each of the four types (see Table below). Additional information about the nucleic acids is available by accessing the individual Product Information Sheets and Certificates of Analysis. Each nucleic acid has been qualified for RT-PCR applications by amplification of a sequence ranging in size from approximately 1200 to approximately 1700 nucleotides.

Each vial contains approximately 100 μL of genomic RNA in TE buffer (10 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7) containing sodium azide (as indicated in the table above). The viral genomic RNA is in a background of cellular nucleic acid and carrier RNA.
