Comments:	Quantity limit per order for this item is 1. This item can be ordered once a year. Orders over this limit will be sent to NIAID for approval before shipment. Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii), ME49 was isolated from sheep muscle. T. gondii, ME49 was deposited to the ATCC ® by L. M. Weiss as genotype Type II. The ATCC ® 50611™ culture tested positive for Mycoplasma arginini; NR-362 has not been tested for mycoplasma contamination. ME49 is a low virulence strain that has a higher spontaneous rate of cyst formation in culture than do virulent strains. Each vial of NR-362 contains approximately 0.5 mL of culture in cryopreservative.
