B. pseudomallei is a motile, aerobic, gram-negative coccobacillus. Known virulence factors include flagella and a type II protein secretion system.

Each vial contains approximately 1 mL of bacterial culture in Tryptic Soy Broth supplemented with 10% glycerol.
