Polyclonal antiserum to Clostridium botulinum (C. botulinum) neurotoxin was produced by immunization of a goat with carboxy-terminal heavy chain fragment of botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT) serotype A. The serum consists of a pool of bleeds obtained throughout the immunization protocol from a single animal.

NR-9353 has not been sterile-filtered.

NR-9353 reacts with C. botulinum neurotoxin type A in Western blot and immunofluorescence assays. NR-9353 demonstrates neutralizing activity in the mouse toxin neutralization assay.
