Antibody Class: IgG₁
ARP-1313 is a hybridoma cell line generated by the fusion of P3X63 Ag8.453 myeloma cells with immunized BALB/c mouse splenocytes mouse splenocytes.

ARP-1313 was cloned from fusion parent 168B17. The hybridoma secretes monoclonal antibodies that recognizes both native and recombinant human T-lymphotropic virus (HTLV-1) Tax protein. A recombinant E. coli-derived Tax protein was used as the immunogen. The antibody produced by the hybridoma reacts with Tax in Western blots and immunoprecipitation assays.

Growth Characteristics: The cells grow in suspension.

Propagation Medium: RPMI 1640 supplemented with 50 µM ß-mercaptoethanol, 2 mM L-glutamine, 100 U per mL penicillin, 100 µg per mL streptomycin with 10% fetal bovine serum

ARP-1313 is negative for mycoplasma, bacteria and fungi.

Each vial of ARP-1313 contains approximately 8 × 10⁶ to 5 × 10⁶ cells in RPMI 1640 supplemented with 50 µM ß-mercaptoethanol, 2 mM L-glutamine, 100 U per mL penicillin, 100 µg per mL streptomycin with 10% fetal bovine serum and 10% DMSO.
