Antibody Class: IgG2b? ARP-11391 is a monoclonal antibody to human immunodeficiency virus 1 (HIV-1) gp41 produced by immunized BALB/c mice.
ARP-11391 is affinity purified from ascites fluid by Protein A/G chromatography. The monoclonal antibody recognizes gp41 (amino acids 597 to 613). The binding maps to the immunodominant region containing two Cys residues (amino acids 597 to 613: GCSGKLICTTAVPWNAS). The T32 antibody was generated during a study of the influence of the oligomeric structure of Env in determining the repertoire of the antibody response. The ELISA titer against HIV-1 lysate (200 ng per well) is 1:1000. ARP-11391 is also referred to as T32 MAb anti-gp41 (597-613).
Note: ARP-11391 may be stored at 4°C for short-term storage and at -80°C for long term storage. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles as reagent degradation may result.
Each vial of ARP-11391 contains approximately 250 µL of affinity purified antibody at 0.4 mg per mL in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. Please refer to the appropriate data sheet for lot-specific information.
