Antibody Class: IgG2? ARP-12047 is a neutralizing monoclonal antibody that displays binary epitope reactivity directed to human immunodeficiency virus 1 (HIV-1) gp120 residues 301 to 311 and residues 421 to 433. ARP-12047 was produced by a hybridoma cell line generated by the fusion of NS-1 mouse myeloma cells with mouse B cells raised against HIV-1 gp120MN derivatized with electrophillic phosphate diester groups.
ARP-12047 neutralizes subtype C HIV strain 97ZA009 (primary isolate) with an IC50 value of 8.2 µg per mL using pooled human peripheral bloord mononuclear cells (PBMC), and binds electrophilic 416 to 433 peptide detectably at 50 µg per mL.
ARP-12047 does not neutralize pseudovirion infection of the HeLa, strain TZm-bl indicator cell line. It neutralizes infection of PHA-activated human PBMCs by genetically diverse primary strains [belonging to subtypes A, B and C].
The total protein is 200 µg per mL by bicinchonic acid protein assay.
Note: ARP-12047 may be stored at 4°C for short-term storage and at -80°C for long term storage. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles as reagent degradation may result.
Each vial of ARP-12047 contains approximately 400 µL purified IgG at 200 µg per mL in a solution of 10mM sodium phosphate, pH 7.4, 137 mM NaCl and 2.7 mM KCl. Please refer to the appropriate data sheet for lot-specific information.
