Mouse monoclonal antibody prepared against the dense granule antigen 3 (GRA3) of Toxoplasma gondii clone T6 2H11 was purified from the hybridoma supernatant by protein G affinity chromatography. The B cell hybridoma was generated by the fusion of SP2/0 myeloma cells with immunized BALB/c mouse splenocytes. Clone T6 H114 recognizes the GRA3 protein. GRA3 (~ 30 kDa) is one of several dense granule proteins that are secreted and localized in the parasitophorous vacuole. Single knockouts suggested that GRA3 is not essential, but double knockouts with GRA5 or GRA7 exhibited defects in replication rate. Each vial contains approximately 100 µL of purified monoclonal antibody in PBS (pH 7.4). NR-50269 is reported to react with GRA3 and to function in immunofluorescence and immunoblot assays.
