Genomic DNA was obtained from a preparation of Listeria monocytogenes (L. monocytogenes), strain FSL N1-017.

L. monocytogenes, strain FSL N1-017 was isolated from trout in brine and has a ribotype exclusive to food sources. It is not associated with any human disease cases. The complete genome of strain FSL N1-017 has been drafted (GenBank: AARP00000000). For more sequencing information, refer to the Broad Institute's Listeria Genome Project.

NR-13348 has been qualified for PCR applications by amplification of approximately 1500 bp of the 16S ribosomal RNA gene.

Each vial contains 0.7 to 1.5 µg of bacterial genomic DNA in TE buffer (10 mM Tris-HCl and 1 mM EDTA, pH ~ 8). Note: Lot 58580373 contains 4 to 6 µg of bacterial genomic DNA in TE buffer (10 mM Tris-HCl and 1 mM EDTA pH ~ 7.4).
