Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii), GT1-FUDR3.3 is a clone of strain GT1 that is resistant to 5-fluoro-2-deoxy uridine (FUDR).

T. gondii, GT1-FUDR3.3 is a virulent Type I parental strain that was used in a genetic cross with the nonvirulent genotype Type III parental strain CTG.11 ARA-SNF (also referred to as CTG.11 ARA-SYN, CTG.11 ARA-AR/SNFR and CEP.11 ARA-AR/SNFR). T. gondii, CTG ARA-SNF is available as BEI Resources NR-10151.

T. gondii, GT1-FUDR3.3 was deposited at BEI Resources as a virulent Type 1 strain. GT1-FUDR3.3 is sensitive in vitro to adenine arabinoside (ara-A), sinefungin (SNF) and resistant to 5-fluoro-2-deoxy uridine (FUDR).

Each vial of NR-10272 contains approximately 0.5 mL of culture in cryopreservative.
