ARP-2972 is an expression vector which produces Kaposi's Sarcoma Herpesvirus (KSHV) ORF26 protein.

This construct is 4280 base pairs including the insert with ampicillin resistance. ARP-2972 expresses a portion of the ORF26 protein derived from KSHV. The KSHV fragment was derived from DNA from an acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)-KS lesion. This plasmid can be used as a PCR and DNA hybridization standard.

Each vial of ARP-2972 contains 5 µg dried purified DNA stabilized in DNAstable PLUS.
