Strain G3 has a 2La/+, 2r+/+, TEP1 s/s genotype.2,3,4 G3 is a mongrel stock that has not been exhaustively defined to distinguish it from other 'wild' An. gambiae stocks.1 It is reported as Savanna rDNA form (predominantly) and dieldrin-susceptible, and is distributed 'as is' with accompanying authentication information (wild eye color, polymorphic at collarless).1,2,3,4

Each vial of MRA-132B contains approximately 100 to 200 An. gambiae frozen male and female mosquitos, which were preserved in liquid nitrogen (quick-frozen) while alive.

MRA-132B is prepared by and shipped from CDC, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The product is provided frozen and should be stored at -80°C or colder immediately upon arrival.
