Campylobacter jejuni subsp. jejuni, strain TGH 9011 was isolated by Dr. L. Spence from human feces at Toronto General Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

This strain was deposited to the ATCC ® by Dr. J. L. Penner in 1986. This strain possesses genes that are similar to those encoded by the pathogenicity island of Helicobacter hepaticus.

Each vial contains approximately 0.5 mL of bacterial culture in Brucella broth supplemented with 10% glycerol.
Citations: Acknowledgment for publications should read "The following reagent was obtained through BEI Resources, NIAID, NIH: Campylobacter jejuni subsp. jejuni, Strain TGH 9011, NR-4082."
