Clostridium botulinum (C. botulinum), strain IBCA 10-7060 was isolated in 2010 from the feces of an infant with botulism by the California Department of Public Health.

Strain IBCA 10-7060 was deposited as a proteolytic, dual toxin producing strain. Mouse bioassays and mass spectrophotometry have detected toxin B2 in addition to a novel toxin, reported to be a hybrid of toxins A and F, toxin H. Strain IBCA 10-7060 is the first C. botulinum type Bh strain to be identified and is the first strain known to produce botulism toxin (BoNT) H. Both BoNT/B and H are heat-labile.

Each vial contains approximately 0.7 mL of bacterial culture in Modified Reinforced Clostridial broth supplemented with 10% glycerol.
