The murine hybridoma cell line, N1-2A8, was generated by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells with splenocytes from female BALB/c mice immunized with the Plasmodium vivax (P. vivax) ookinete surface protein 25 (Pvs25).
Each vial contains approximately 0.5 mL of hybridoma cells in cell culture medium supplemented with 10% dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) at a concentration of 5 × 106 cells per mL. Sufficient cells are provided to initiate at least one new culture.
Hybridoma N1-2A8 produces monoclonal antibody of the IgG1 subclass, which has transmission blocking activity against P. vivax parasites.
If shipping to the U.S. State of Hawaii, you must provide either an import permit or documentation stating that an import permit is not required. We cannot ship this item until we receive this documentation.
