The HEK-TLR4YFP cell line is derived from an adherent human embryonic kidney epithelial cell line (HEK-293) by stable transfection with a cDNA construct coding for a Yellow Fluorescent Protein (YFP)-Human Toll-Like Receptor 4 (TLR4) chimera.

Each vial contains approximately 1 mL of cell culture suspension frozen in cell growth medium (90%) and DMSO (10%) cryo-preservatant. Sufficient cells are provided to initiate at least one new culture.
Citations: Acknowledgment for publications should read "The following reagent was obtained through BEI Resources, NIAID, NIH: HEK-TLR4YFP Cell Line, NR-9314."
