Genomic DNA was extracted from a preparation of Clostridium botulinum, Strain Walls 8G (VPI 4404, BL 4851), serotype F (proteolytic).

NR-2713 has been qualified for PCR applications by amplification of approximately 1500 base pairs of the 16S ribosomal RNA gene.

Each vial of NR-2713 contains bacterial genomic DNA in buffer. The vial should be centrifuged prior to opening.
