Genomic DNA was isolated from a preparation of Campylobacter jejuni subsp. jejuni, MK 104, serotype O:19. Strain MK 104 was isolated by Dr. M. Karmali from human feces at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This strain was deposited to the ATCC ® by Dr. J. L. Penner in 1986.

NR-4118 has been qualified for PCR applications by amplification of approximately 1500 base pairs of the 16S ribosomal RNA gene.

Each vial contains 4 µg to 6 µg of bacterial genomic DNA in TE buffer (10 mM Tris-HCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH ~ 8.0).
