Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus), strain HT 20020141 (also referred to as NRS236) was isolated in 2002 from the bloodstream of a 1-month-old male with bacteremia in France.

S. aureus, strain HT 20020141 is a clinically associated methicillin-sensitive S. aureus (MSSA) strain. S. aureus, strain HT 20020141 was deposited as negative for mec; positive for the enterotoxin gene cluster (egc) operon, the gamma-hemolysin gene, hlgv and the leukocidin genes lukE and lukD; MLST sequencing type (ST) 45; eGenomic spa type 73, eGenomic spa repeats XKAKBEMBKB; Ridom spa type t015; agr group I.

Each vial contains approximately 0.5 mL of bacterial culture in Tryptic Soy broth supplemented with 10% glycerol.
