We make every attempt to get the detailed passage history from the depositing scientist during the acquisition process. At BEI Resources, every effort is made to maintain minimal passage number by employing a seed stock concept, minimizing the passage number from depositor seed material to distribution vial.

• Glycolipids and total lipids are generally soluble in 2:1 chloroform:methanol or DMSO.
• Lipoglycans are generally soluble in molecular-grade water or 100-500 mM aqueous buffered salt solutions.
• Peptidoglycan and arabinoglactan may require bath sonication.
• Cell Wall Core (mAGP) may be reconstituted in acetone. mAGP is poorly soluble and sonication is generally required to achieve a uniform suspension.
• Mycolic acids may be resuspended in chloroform or dichloromethanol.
